Why do we take photos with our children?

Michael Gronow as a 1 year old with his grandparentsI recently came across an old photo of me with my grandparents when I was 1 year old. I love it because it shows me what my grandparents were like when I was that age, something I have no memory of.

So while most of us take photos with our children/grandchildren so that WE can remember what they were like as children, I think we are also taking them so that our FUTURE grown up children can look back as adults (maybe when they have a child of their own) and see what we were like as they were growing up.

And before anybody comments…..yes, I was a bit of a chubby baby! 🙂
